Library Mission
The Physics Research Library supports the research and educational activities of the members of the Department of Physics, and, where possible, the larger University community, by providing research and study space, by acquiring, organizing, and administering scholarly materials, regardless of media type or format, and by offering the training, assistance and services necessary to use these materials effectively.

Library Access
The Library is open to the Harvard community as well as qualified non-Harvard researchers during business hours: Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.
After-hours and weekend access to the Library is controlled by a card-swipe system. Physics department faculty, students, staff members, as well as undergraduate physics concentrators and qualified visitors, may apply for after-hours access to the library.
