Congratulations to Prof. Carlos Argüelles-Delgado on being named a CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholar this year!

The [CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars Program](https://cifar.us17.list-manage.com/track/click?u=cf97c3b3a750d231b4bbd2c61&id=914d35b131&e=f48d52ff2b) is designed to accelerate the development of early career researchers in their pivotal first years as independent principal investigators in an academic or research institution, with responsibilities for research and teaching. Since 2015, this program has provided 125 early career researchers with research support, access to generous mentorship, and an incredible network of interdisciplinary thinkers. These scholars are recognized as rising stars in their fields, representing a wide range of disciplines and countries. Selected participants spend two years in one of CIFAR’s research programs and receive $100,000 CAD in unrestricted funding. The program is generously supported by the Azrieli Foundation.
