"Wilson’s Renormalization Group Theory: Ken Wilson as I Knew Him"
Ken Wilson’s invention of the Renormalization Group for systems exhibiting criticality – especially as it led to the quantitatively effective "epsilon expansion" – will be explored. Prof. Fisher will tell of Ken’s vision and of his interactions with him as a colleague and as a friend.
