Julia Mundy is an experimental condensed matter physicist. Her research combines thin film deposition with advanced characterization techniques to design, synthesize and probe novel quantum materials at the atomic-scale.
Julia will join the physics department as an assistant professor in 2018. She obtained her PhD in Applied Physics from Cornell University and her AB in Chemistry and Physics from Harvard. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley
