Following a postdoctoral appointment, he moved to Harvard University, where he is currently the Mallinckrodt Professor of Applied Physics and Physics. He is the Director of the Center for Nanoscale Systems at Harvard (), which provides shared facilities for nanofabrication and imaging of quantum materials and devices.
