The Department of Physics is pleased to provide a lactation/parenting room in Lyman 327 to help new parents balance the demands of parenting with work or study. The location of [existing parenting rooms on-campus](https://hr.harvard.edu/parental-lactation-support) are a major inconvenience to our nursing mothers, who must now expend time and energy traveling with equipment to other campus buildings multiple times per day. The Physics parenting room serves as a safe, secure, and private space for faculty, staff, students, and researchers, as well as their spouses/domestic partners who need to breastfeed or expel breast milk while on campus.

The room is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, sink, changing table, and comfortable seating.

To get access to the room, please contact Physics Reception (Lyman 236).
