Each year, the GSAS the Harvard Horizons Faculty Fellows pick eight Ph.D. students to participate in Harvard Horizons, an initiative to recognize and celebrate the work of promising scholars. The selected students get the opportunity to present their work at the symposium and prepare through personalized coaching sessions with faculty mentors and the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning.

Among the 2024 New Horizon symposium, held at Sanders Theatre, was physics G5 Noah Toyonaga, for his research "Scissors across scales: the geometry of biology, fashion, and architecture."

Congratulations, Noah!
