Every year, Science News choses 10 early- and mid-career scientists who have potential to shape the science of the future and solve some of the world’s biggest problems as their 10 Scientists to Watch. The nominations come from Nobel laureates, members of the National Academy of Sciences, and past SN 10 scientists. This year, other scientists and the wider public were invited to submit the nominations as well.

This year, Carlos Argüelles-Delgado, Assistant Professor of Physics who hunts for particles beyond the standard model, is among SN 10. For more informaiton, read the essay on the Science News site.
