Congratulations to Prof. Julia Mundy on her receipt of the 2021 Star-Friedman Challenge for Promising Scientific Research for her proposal, “An Interfacial Platform for Faultless Quantum Computing.”
The prize provides seed funding to interdisciplinary high-risk, high-impact projects in the life, physical, and social sciences that, because of its originality and high-risk approach, may not receive support through traditional funding channels. It expands opportunities for Harvard researchers to pursue ever more novel areas of inquiry, unburdened by the constraints of traditional funding and conventional thinking.
